"Miass Factory of Medical Equipment" completes installation work in the Pirogov Hospital in Moscow
  The Pirogov Municipal Clinical Hospital no.1 is the oldest one in Moscow. Nowadays it is a powerful multifield healthcare complex, located in Lenin prospect. It employs highly-qualified specialists. The 1500-bed hospital accommodates approximately 35000 patient visits per year. The hospital is being rebuilt for several years already. In 2003 the Moscow City Government declared new constructing, rebuilding and restoration of the surgery department of the hospital. The grand opening of the restored pavilion no.5 of the surgery department was held in November. The pavilion represents a four-storeyed building comprised of several admission departments, 11 operating rooms, rooms for computer tomography, radionuclide diagnostics and other premises. MFME has mounted cleanrooms in resuscitation area of the surgery department. The company has performed design, manufacturing of equipment, mounting, balancing, commisioning and acceptance works. Total area of cleanrooms supplied by MFME is 1700 m2. The commissioning of the facility was attended by Mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov, the first deputy mayor in Moscow City Government, head of the social sphere complex Ludmila Shvetsova, head of Moscow healthcare department Andrei Seltsovsky and the chief doctor of the Pirogov Hospital Oleg Rutkovsky.
