| General applications
 Aseptic Booth system “Pelikan” is applicable to bandageless treatment for vast burns, multiple open wounds, open fractures with extensive soft-tissue injuries.
Treatment occurs under the sterile ambient air conditions in the PVC-film isolation-tent with adjustable microclimate parameters.
The uni-directional decontaminated airflow with constant temperature reduces the exposure of a patient or injured tissue to airborne infection-causing germs.
It ensures optimal conditions for the wound healing via slight drying effect, prevention of the microorganisms spread in the wound, considerable reduction of the fluid, protein and electrolyte loss through open wounded or burnt area.

Characteristic construction features
During operation the air temperature parameters are preset within a wide range and maintained constant. The control system also monitors and controls the inside air humidity parameters. “Pelikan” features a built-in UV irradiator providing air and HEPA filter decontamination. Control module performs integral functions of UV irradiation and air temperature monitoring.
The intensive care system has 5-modes performance determined by the inflow blower speed selection.
Microcontroller permits to enter and maintain the operating parameters of the system at a preset value via menu.
It also makes it possible to automatically compensate for the parameters during operation time directly.
The interface unit of “Pelikan” incorporates LED display and control panel.
